About us

 We are a team of Cardiologists, specialist physiologists and cardiac nurses with many years experience in cardiovascular diagnostics. We have trained and worked in some of the UK's leading specialist hospitals. 

Also on our team are a consultant endocrinologist and a specialist in sports medicine. 

We are a CQC registered provider. 

 Based in beautifully refurbished rooms in Harley Street we offer a range of non invasive investigations including 12 lead ECG, Echocardiography, Carotid Ultrasound, Ambulatory ECG Monitoring (Holter Monitoring) and Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

Cardiology consultations are also available

All tests are carried out by fully accredited physiologists and nurses. Medical reports, where required, are by consultant cardiologists.  

We pride ourselves on our friendly, fast, efficient and responsive service. We will respond to your appointment request within 24 hours.

Reports, where applicable, are sent on the same day.

Sam is a Consultant Cardiologist based at Barts Heart Centre and an Honorary Professor of Cardiology at Queen Mary, University of London. He trained in Edinburgh, at the National Institutes of Health in the USA, and in London. Sam was lead author of the national training curriculum for Inherited Cardiac Conditions and has an active role in sub-specialty education. 

His clinical and research interests include inflammatory (myocarditis) and inherited heart muscle diseases, and in the use of Cardiac resonance imaging (Cardiac MRI) in the assessment of these & other heart conditions.  Sam runs our clinic for inflammatory and inherited heart muscle conditions and also heads up our sports screening team.

Filip specialises in General Cardiology. 

His subspecialities are Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Heart Failure

He is committed to taking a patient-centred, holistic approach, dedicated to giving every patient, whether professional sportsperson or not, exemplary care.

Having qualified from the University of London in 2000, Shabaaz went on to become one of the first UK consultants in Sport & Exercise Medicine.  His 14 years’ experience in top-level sport include leading Tottenham Hotspur’s Medical and Sport Science department, holding the positions of Chair of the Premier League Doctors Group and President of the Royal Society of Medicine Sport and Exercise Medicine section.

Dr Mughal’s expertise is in caring for all sports and musculoskeletal injuries, the areas he focuses on include joint and muscle pain and injuries, ligament and tendon problems, complex sports hip and groin injuries, non-operative management of knee and ankle injuries, football medicine, nutrition, lifestyle medicine and rehabilitation from both long-term musculoskeletal injuries and post viral illness. He offers musculoskeletal ultrasound examination during the consultation to provide an immediate diagnosis. Regardless of the level a patient has participated in exercise or sport, he will do everything he can to ensure they return or even surpass that level of involvement.

In 2012, he played a pivotal role in the on-pitch cardio-pulmonary resuscitation of Bolton Wanderers’ player Fabrice Muamba, winning plaudits worldwide for his intervention. His work on the Premier League Medical Working Group and Steering Group on Head Injuries and Concussion has significantly developed and enhanced the medical care in the Premier League.

He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and has presented domestically and overseas on a spectrum of Sport and Exercise Medicine subjects including musculoskeletal injuries and screening programmes in elite sport, sudden cardiac arrest in sport, the club doctor’s role, sportsmen’s groin and concussion.

Professor Gerard Conway is a specialist Endocrinologist. His practice covers general endocrinology including pituitary, adrenal, thyroid and reproductive endocrinology.

His clinical research interests are in the field of reproductive endocrinology with particular focus on the polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian function and disorders of sex

Professor Gerard Conway is a specialist Endocrinologist. His practice covers general endocrinology including pituitary, adrenal, thyroid and reproductive endocrinology.

His clinical research interests are in the field of reproductive endocrinology with particular focus on the polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian function and disorders of sexual development. This research has formed the basis of over 160 academic publications.


His areas of interest are in reproductive endocrinology, Polycystic ovary syndrome, Turner syndrome, adrenal hyperplasia, Addisons disease and Klinefelter syndrome.

Caroline Westgate

Caroline is a Principal Specialist Cardiac Physiologist with a special interest in Cardiovascular ultrasound- echocardiography and carotid ultrasound.

Caroline trained at The National Heart Hospital in central London and went on to work at The National Heart Hospital and at The Royal Brompton Hospital.

She was one of the founding members of

Caroline trained at The National Heart Hospital in central London and went on to work at The National Heart Hospital and at The Royal Brompton Hospital.

She was one of the founding members of The British Society of Echocardiography and was their Honorary Secretary for 10 years. She was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the BSE in recognition of her services to Echocardiography.
